Prices of chana fell in Delhi because of low demand from dal millers. Prices of the commodity fell despite the Centres order to states to remove stock limit on pulses. Arrivals of chana in Delhi are at 750 tnonne vs 600 tonne. Central government notified the removal of pulses from the list of commodities that have stockholding limits under the Essential Commodities Act.
