Barley prices in Jaipur are up for the second straight day due to a pick-up in demand from the feed industry, coupled with shrinking supplies of the grain. Arrivals of the grain were estimated at 15,000 bags (1 bag = 85 kg) down 5,000 bags from previous close. Concerns over quality of the arrivals restricted demand from the malt industry, which in turn capped the gain in prices.
