Despite stronger arrivals today, mustard prices jumped throughout the country’s primary spot markets due to increased demand from bulk purchasers. The oilseed was sold for 7,225 rupees per 100 kg in the benchmark market of Jaipur, Rajasthan, compared to 7,075 rupees on Tuesday. The number of bags arriving was expected to be 600,000, up from 500,000 the day before.
