Egypt, has banned purchase of Russian wheat containing traces of fungus ergot. The country’s administrative court recently enforced a zero-tolerance policy, overturning a September 2016 cabinet decision to allow import of wheat with 0.05% ergot content. The court called the fungus a threat to public health.
