European Union this week awarded 31,694 tonnes of wheat imports under annual tariff rate quotas (TRQ). This included 21,035 tonnes under a quota for U.S. wheat only, with the rest granted under quotas open to various origins. The EU also granted 7,500 tonnes of imports of Ukrainian barley under separate duty-free quotas.
