EU wheat firms in consolidation move after hitting contract lows.

European wheat prices edged higher, consolidating after hitting new contract lows in the previous session and supported by a rise in Chicago but traders stressed that the market remained pressured by ample global supplies. December milling wheat on Paris-based Euronext, unofficially closed 0.6 percent higher at 160.25 euros a tonne, just above the psychological support of 160.00 euros. Traders put the next support at 155 euros. The market needs a pause after the continuous fall but fundamentally the bearish pressure from the large global supplies remains.
