FAO says India Jan-Nov non-basmati rice export prices up 8% on year.

The average price of 25% broken non-basmati rice exported from India during Jan-Nov rose 8% on year to $361 a tn. During the year-ago period, the grain was sold at $334 per tn. In November, export prices of rice from India were fairly lower than that of Thailand, one of the largest competitors. In November, while 25% broken non-basmati rice from India was exported at $366 a tn, those from Thailand was sold at $388 a tn.
