IMD’s Agrimet has recommended farmers in Gujarat to prepare land for sowing of key kharif rabi crops wheat. Farmers should select high-yielding varieties of the crops for sowing and arrange adequate fertilisers. Good rains in south-west monsoon season would also help in sowing as it has improved the soil moisture.
