Haryana is targeting around 12 mln tn of wheat output in 2017-18 (Jul-Jun), down about 3% from a year ago primarily due to a likely decline in yields, citing figures from the state government’s rabi crop targets. The state department has pegged wheat yields at 4,705 kg per ha this year, lower than 4,841 kg per ha last year.
