ICE Canada canola futures rise, lifted by stronger U.S. crop markets, and the shrugging off of a Canadian govt report of larger than expected plantings. Canadian canola plantings at 22.8 million acres, topping the average trade expectation of 22.2 million. July canola up $10.50 to $530/tn, as short investors closed positions ahead of the contract expiry next month. Most active November canola added $2.30 to $484.40 per tonne.
