ICE raw sugar rises on extended bargain buying.

ICE Raw sugar futures contracts rise as investors continued to buy sugar after prices fell in earlier sessions. Most active October contract up 1.0% at 13.80 cents per pound. Prices of raw sugar had fallen earlier due to expectations of high global output in 2017-18, largely helped by a rise in production in Brazil. Mills in Brazil Centre-South region produced 1.75 mln tn sugar during the second fortnight of May, up 4% from 1.69 mln tn produced a year ago.
