The International Grains Council has raised its estimate for Russia’s wheat exports in 2017-18 to 34.6 mln tn, up 2.0 mln from November projection. Russian wheat exports are seen higher due to lower prices after a record high production in the country. Wheat output in Russia in 2017-18 is estimated at 84.9 mln tn, up 1.9 mln from previous estimate and 12.4 mln from a year ago.
