After awarding Geographical Indication (GI) tag for rosogolla to West Bengal, the Geographical Indication Registry in Chennai has decided to deliver a verdict in the next 15 days on Madhya Pradesh’s claim for inclusion of certain districts in the Basmati rice GI tag.
