Govt may consider tweaking import duty on wheat after Oct 15 as sowing of the grain typically starts around that time. Wheat imports currently attract a customs duty of 10%. Market players have been anticipating a rise in wheat import duty as high imports have kept wholesale prices subdued for last six months.
