Rice basmati prices edged up at the wholesale grains market today on pick up in demand against fall in supplies. A few bold grains also settled higher on increased offtake by consuming industries. Traders said besides uptick in demand, tight stocks position on fall in arrivals from growing regions mainly pushed up rice basmati prices.
