Prices of wheat maintained their trend in the spot markets, with wheat up for the second consecutive day and the coarse grain remaining weak. In the key wholesale markets of the country, wheat prices are rising because stocks with millers and big buyers are running out while prices at government sales source of supply during the lean season are too high. Big millers and bulk buyers are buying in huge quantities as their stocks are getting depleted and imports are also getting expensive.
