Wheat prices are down in the key wholesale Delhi market as demand remained subdued while they rise slightly in Indore due to lack of supplies. Despite lean season, wheat prices have been subdued due to record high crop this year. Government has scaled up its estimate for wheat production in India in 2016-17 (Jul-Jun) to a record high of 98.38 mln tn.
