Prices of wheat fell in the major wholesale market of Delhi because of poor demand, as traders are largely depending on imported grain. There is no demand from south India this time, as they are mostly depending on imports because of their cheap rates. Tracking spot markets, contracts of wheat on the NCDEX also fell.
