Prices of wheat rose marginally in key wholesale market Delhi due to a rise in demand at low prices. Wheat prices have been subdued in last six-seven months due to ample supply after a bumper crop in 2016-17 (Jul-Jun). There is ample stock in the market from the previous crop and harvesting for the current season will also start in some parts by February as supplies are very high but demand is poor
