Indian corn production is set for record-breaking crop of 27.14 MMT for the 2017/18 campaign, after a normal monsoon and an increase in the planted area. Indian last record corn crop achieved in 2016/17 when it produced 26.3 MMT. Total food grains, which include corn, rice, wheat and other cereals, is set for a record production size of 277.49 MMT, up 2.37 million from the previous record.
