Prices of wheat in the benchmark market of Indore continued to fall as demand for the grain is seen fading after Navratri ended on Sep 29. In Indore, arrivals pegged at 800 bags (1 bag = 100 kg), down 200 bags from the previous close, they said. Tracking the trend in spot markets, futures contracts of wheat on the NCDEX also fell.
