ISMA says 0.477 MMT of imported raw sugar to arrive by June 30.

The shipments likely to reach the ports by June-end are about 22,000 tn less than the allotted quota of 0.5 MMT as domestic supplies would be sufficient. In May, 35,210 tn of raw sugar had arrived at country ports. In addition to the allotted quota, another 0.29 MMT of raw sugar has been loaded in Brazil, and this is expected to arrive in India after the deadline of June 30.
