Prices of mustard seed are up for the second consecutive trading day in Jaipur because of rising demand from oil millers and crushers. Demand in the domestic market rise after prices hit an over two-year low recently. Arrivals across the country are pegged at 220,000 bags (1bag=85kg) compared with 250,000 bags on previous close. Supplies are lower because farmers are holding back their produce as they expect prices to rise further in the coming days. On the NCDEX, the most-active June contract of mustard seed traded up 0.5%.
