Japan offers to buy 93,765 tonnes food wheat via tender.

Japan Ministry of Agriculture is seeking to buy a total of 93,765 tonnes of food-quality wheat from the US and Australia for late-Aug through mid-Sept shipment in a regular tender that will close late on 13 July. Japan keeps a tight grip on imports of the country second-most important staple after rice, and buys majority of the grain for milling via tenders typically issued thrice a month.
