Among oilseeds, output of groundnut is seen declining 23% on year to 190,000 tonne, while production of sunflower, another major crop grown in the state, is seen down 14% on year at 68,000 tonne. The overall output of oilseeds in the state is seen at 480,000 tonne, against 589,000 tonne in 2016-17.
