Kazakhstan boosted wheat supplies to the EU by 36%.

Kazakhstan exported 314.2 KMT of wheat in June 2017, or 11.3% less than in the previous month, but 14.6% more than at the same time last year. Overall, this season’s wheat exports from Kazakhstan are slightly up year-on-year (+3.8%). The country shipped 3373 KMT of wheat to foreign markets from September 2016 till June 2017 against 3250 KMT at the same time in MY 2015/16. Growth of shipments is registered in almost all the end markets of Kazakh wheat. To date, wheat exports to Uzbekistan are already 6% higher than for the whole last season. Deliveries to Tajikistan almost reached last year’s level. Exports to Afghanistan are up 18% year-on-year and those to the European Union (225 KMT) are up 36%.
