Along with a boost in flour exports, Kazakhstan is stepping up deliveries of wheat bran to foreign markets. So, wheat bran exports gained 25.6% in January 2018 against December 2017 (24.5 KMT and 19.6 KMT, respectively). In addition, this is up 180% from January 2017, when 13.7 KMT was shipped abroad. Wheat bran exports from Kazakhstan in the first five months of MY 2017/18 (September-January) were up 2.6% year-on-year at almost 93 KMT.
