Kazakhstan is seeking to switch some acreage from wheat to oilseeds including soybeans as well as pulses. The IGC has forecast Kazakhstan’s wheat production will fall to 13.7 million tonnes in 2018/19 from 14.8 million in 2017/18 and 15.0 million in 2016/17.
