Madhya Pradesh govt is aiming to procure half of the total output of 2016-17 (Jul-Jun) summer moong crop to give a fillip to the falling prices and help farmers. Prices of moong have fallen below MSP and govt is committed to buy around 0.15 MMT which is 50% of total crop of summer grown moong.
