Prices of moong in Jaipur fell by 50 rupees because of weak demand from dal millers. Positive forecast of the monsoon rains by the IMD also weighed on prices. IMD scaled up its southwest monsoon forecast for 2017 to 98% of the long period average from 96% predicted earlier.
