In Haryana, more than 6.26 MMT paddy arrived so far in mandis, out of which government procuring agencies have procured over 56.70 lakh metric tonnes whereas over 5.90 lakh metric tonnes of paddy is purchased by millers and dealers. The total arrival, more than 26.31 lakh metric tonnes of paddy has been purchased by Food, Civil Supplies and Consumer Affairs Department, over 18.69 lakh metric tonnes by HAFED, over 5.31 lakh metric tonnes by the Haryana Agro Industries Corporation, over 6.21 lakh metric tonnes by Haryana Warehousing Corporation and 17,327 metric tonnes has been purchased by the Food Corporation of India.
