Prices of mustard seed rose in Jaipur due to a fall in the acreage of the oilseed across the country. Sowing of mustard seed across the country was at 6.6 mln ha, down 5% on year. Improved demand from domestic oil millers and crushers, amid limited supplies in the market, further supported the oilseed prices.
