NAFED buys 72,570 tn soybean across Rajasthan, Telangana, and Maharashtra.

National Agricultural Cooperative Marketing Federation of India had procured 72,570 tn of kharif soybean from farmers across Rajasthan, Telangana, and Maharashtra. The agency bought 11,620 tn of soybean in Rajasthan, where procurement ended on Dec 27. Procurement in Maharashtra was at 26,226 tn and in Telangana at 34,724 tn. Maharashtra and Rajasthan are the second- and third-largest growers of the oilseed, respectively. Over 42,410 farmers have gained from the procurement that began in early October.
