Futures contracts of chana on the NCDEX were up over 1% due to firm demand from domestic stockists and dal millers ahead of Diwali. The most-active November contract of the pulse was at 4,001 rupees per 100 kg, up 1.4% from the previous close. However, in Delhi, the benchmark market, prices of chana and arrivals were largely unchanged, because supply was sufficient to meet the demand. Chana was sold at 4,150-4,250 rupees per 100 kg and arrivals in Delhi were steady at 375 tn.
