Maize futures ended higher on NCDEX due to concerns over sluggish progress of kharif sowing in the country. Poor rainfall in south India and low water level in reservoirs have hampered the sowing operations in key producers Telangana and Karnataka. Adverse sowing conditions have created a bullish sentiment in south Indian markets.
