The September contract of mustard seed neared a three-week high of 4,099 rupees per 100 kg on the NCDEX, tracking gains in the benchmark spot market. The most active September contract rose 1.06% from Thursday to 4,086 rupees per 100 kg. Prices of mustard seed rose in Jaipur, the benchmark market, due to robust demand from domestic oil millers and crushers after markets resumed. In Jaipur, mustard seed was sold at 4,250-4,275 rupees per 100 kg, up 25-50 rupees.
