Futures contracts of soybean on NCDEX fell because of mild profit booking.

The most-active December contract was 0.2% lower at 3,983 rupees per 100 kg.

Prices of the oilseed also fell as arrivals of the fresh crop have increased in the past few weeks.

However, in Indore, soybean prices were steady at 4,000 rupees per 100 kg. Arrivals were also largely unchanged at 5,000 bags (1 bag = 100 kg).
