National Cooperative Dairy Federation of India bought 5,750 tn of de-oiled rice bran on Wednesday in three lots at 1,272-1,320 rupees per 100 kg and 400 tn of rice polish at 1,923 rupees. The commodities, used as cattle feed, were bought on behalf of Karnataka Milk Federation. The National Cooperative Dairy Federation of India, which has nearly 200 dairy cooperatives as members, has developed an online trading platform to purchase feed stock and sell dairy products.
