More than 6.3 MMT of paddy arrived in Haryana during the current procurement season as compared to over 5.28 MMT during the corresponding period last year. Out of the total arrival of paddy, government agencies had so far procured over 5.5 MMT of paddy whereas the remaining quantity of over 4.71 lakh tonnes procured by millers.
