Poor demand of sugar pulls down prices in Delhi, Muzaffarnagar.

Prices of sugar in the key wholesale markets of north India fell due to poor demand from bulk buyers. The price of medium-grade sugar fell by 10 rupees per 100 kg each in Delhi and Muzaffarnagar, while remained largely unchanged in Mumbai and Kolhapur amid thin trade. Subdued demand coupled with high supplies in market is weighing on prices of the sweetener. The most active July contract on the NCDEX is down 0.4%.
