M-grade sugar unchanged in Mumbai and in Kolhapur. The prices are likely to remain bearish in the near term because of concerns over goods and services tax and a higher acreage of cane in the upcoming Kharif season. Under the goods and services tax, which is scheduled to be implemented from July 1, sugar will attract a 5% rate.
