Rice production in Punjab in 2017-18 (Jul-Jun) is estimated at 18.2 mln tn, up 44% from 12.6 mln tn the previous year. Punjab is among the major producers of rice in the country. Punjab have no problem in rice crop (this year) and other than south Punjab, having good rains, said CM.
