Agrarian states Punjab and Haryana have procured over 22 MMT of paddy this season so far. Punjab has procured over nearly 15.8 MMT of paddy while in Haryana, over 6.3 MMT has been procured. Punjab is all set to set an all-time record of procuring over 18.2 MMT of paddy this season. It had procured over 16.8 MMT of paddy in a bumper crop season last year.
