Green Revolution state Punjab has procured nearly 14 MMT of paddy this season within one month of the procurement process, while neighbouring Haryana has also procured nearly 60 lakh tonnes. The procurement of paddy began in both states on October 1. The paddy arrival and procurement will continue till the end of November.
