Rabi crops’ MSP for the 2025–2026 season might increase by up to 8%; this was announced today.

Today (Wednesday, October 16), the Union Cabinet is due to convene and revised the Minimum Support Price (MSP) for Rabi crops for the marketing season 2025-26. The MSP for wheat is probably going to rise by 5%, while reports indicate that the MSP for other Rabi crops, such as mustard, chana, and lentils, would climb by 5% to 8%. The Commission on Agricultural Costs and Prices’ recommendations will serve as a basis for the ultimate MSP decision.
