Rabobank says weather volatility poses risk to Brazil coffee crops.

Coffee production in some parts of Brazil may be hit if rain plays truant in the coming weeks. After a very dry weather, coffee plants have bloomed earlier than usual in parts of Brazil following some showers last week. The coffee blooms may wither if there is no rain in the coming weeks. Weather volatility is expected ahead and low rainfall during Sep-Oct may affect output in Arabica growing regions of the world’s largest coffee producing country.
