Record wheat production in Russia may hit wheat exports by the EU this year. The agency has estimated wheat exports from EU at 23.1 mln tn for 2017-18, down from 24 mln tn the previous year. Wheat shipments from France may be hit by cheaper availability of the grain from Russia and Ukraine. Lower production in Germany and higher consumption of the grain in the EU bloc may also hurt wheat exports this year.
