In collaboration with the Ministry of Consumer Affairs and Food & Public Distribution, the National Cooperative Consumers Federation (NCCF) has organized the sale of essential Commodities at 112 locations around the Bangalore city There is some respite for Bengalureans due to the skyrocketing costs of necessities. Rice, wheat flour, chana dal, and moong dal are now available to middle-class families without ration cards for less than the going rate.
According to the sources, that each household may get 10 kg of unpolished rice, 10 kg of wheat flour, 1 kg of chana dal, and 1 kg of moong dal at an NCCF-approved dealer. The NCCF is selling rice for Rs 34 per kg when the market price is between Rs 55 and Rs 60, wheat flour for Rs 30 per kg when the market price is between Rs 45 and Rs 50, chana dal for Rs 70 per kg when the market price is between Rs 90 and Rs 100, and moong dal for Rs 107 per kg when the market price is between Rs 120 and Rs 130.
