Romania expected wheat exports slowdown.

In May 2017 Romania exported 140 KMT of wheat, which is three times lower higher than record, achieved in May 2016 (408 KMT). Thus, since the beginning of 2016/17 (July-May) Romania exported 6508 KMT of wheat, which is 53% higher than over the same period last season (4260 KMT) due to additional imports from Hungary and Bulgaria. In the reporting period exports to Egypt decreased to 1046 KMT compared to last season (1195 KMT over July-May 2015/16) due to higher competition from Russia. Vietnam made the last purchase in November 2016, but still has large share in Romanian export structure- 838 KMT (62 KMT).
