Russia will export 200,000 tn mill quality wheat to Bangladesh by December. The first shipment from Russia is expected to reach Bangladesh by September. Bangladesh is looking to import wheat as the country’s food grain production and stocks were hit due to floods in the last two months. Russia has ample wheat to offer at cheap prices as the country is set to harvest a record crop this year. Russia’s wheat output is pegged at 77.5 mln tn, up 8.6 mln tn from the previous estimate, and 5.0 mln tn from a year ago.
